Activities

Discovery Pointers live life to its fullest with a calendar overflowing with fun! Hopping the bus for outings and shopping, they return to water aerobics, entertainment, Wii competitions, Bingo, cards, exercise, practice for the resident little theater productions, lectures and fabulous theme parties. Taking the time to have so much fun is simple because the Discovery Point Service Package includes all these fun activities, plus weekly housekeeping, flat linen service, elegant dining service and a comprehensive transportation program.

Dining

Dining at Discovery Point is always delicious with a full breakfast served daily and dinner served tableside featuring a delicious special entré, carefully prepared and complimented by seasonal vegetables. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated with the always-available alternative menu items. It just doesn’t get any better!

Supportive services

Residents requiring a little extra care may take advantage of a la carte services available through a licensed home care agency. Services are packaged with affordability in mind; no minimum service times are required.

Emergency protection

Discovery Point is equipped with fire protection systems, and each apartment has an emergency alert system in the bedroom and bathroom. Also available is an emergency alert pendant for even further assurance. Peace of mind comes from knowing Banner Baywood Medical Center and Heart Hospital and other necessary medical services are right next door. A variety of home health agencies are available in the area to provide additional services if the need should arise.
